NHL’s Premier Talent Takes Center Stage: Exciting Opening Night and National Schedule Unveiled

Hockey enthusiasts are in for a thrilling season as the NHL unveils a spectacular lineup of games and events, reveals NHL.com. The excitement begins with an ESPN opening night tripleheader on October 10, featuring Connor Bedard, the No. 1 pick in the 2023 NHL Draft, and his Chicago Blackhawks facing off against the formidable Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh (8 p.m. ET, ESPN, ESPN+, TVAS).

ESPN’s opening night extravaganza doesn’t stop there. The action-packed evening includes the Nashville Predators taking on the Tampa Bay Lightning (5:30 p.m. ET; ESPN, ESPN+, TVAS) and the Stanley Cup champion Vegas Golden Knights hosting the Seattle Kraken (10:30 p.m. ET; ESPN, ESPN+, TVAS).

The excitement continues the following night with TNT’s doubleheader. First up, Connor Bedard and the Blackhawks clash with the Boston Bruins (7:30 p.m. ET; TNT), followed by a showdown between Pierre-Luc Dubois and the Los Angeles Kings and Cale Makar and the Colorado Avalanche (10:30 p.m. ET; TNT).
